There’s deals on pretty much the entire Fitbit range going on over at Amazon, which makes it a great time up upgrade or jump in with wearable tech.
The Fitbit Charge 4 just launched which brought GPS and a brand new Active Zone Minutes metric to the wrist. Unsurprisingly, that isn’t part of the deals and retails still at its full $149.99 price.
However, the Charge 4 isn’t the best Fitbit for everyone.
It’s the most powerful fitness band in the range, but if your needs are more simplistic then the Inspire HR will be more your cup of tea. And if you prefer the smartwatch format, you can still get the Versa 2 and Versa Lite Edition. And the good news? All of those are in the Fitbit sale.
Read on to bag a Fitbit discount.
Fitbit Versa 2 – save $50
However, for the same dollar you can pick up the Fitbit Versa 2, which is a mighty $50 discount. You don’t get GPS built into that sadly, but you do get the SpO2 blood oxygen sensor, and the full gamut of sleep tracking.
What’s more, Active Zone Minutes is sure to roll out to the Versa 2 in due course, so if you’re happy to take your phone along for runs to provide the Connected GPS tracking, it’s a great smartwatch for the money.
You may also want to take a look at the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, which sacrifices features but is now at a bargain $99.99 price.
Fitbit Inspire HR – now $69.95
The Fitbit Inspire HR is also getting a price cut, and you can bag that for $69.95 – down from $99.95. The Inspire HR is much more compact and lightweight than the Charge 4, which you will notice under clothing.
You still get heart rate tracking and the excellent sleep tracking, but there aren’t exercise tracking profiles, nor do you get blood oxygen. This is more of a basic health tracker.
Fitbit Inspire – now $49.95
And if you are looking to spend as little as possible, the most basic Fitbit Inspire is available for $49.95 in the sale. There’s no heart rate tracking, which impacts into the accuracy of most Fitbit metrics such as calories and sleep – but you can clip it to the body as well as wearing on the wrist (if you buy the accessory).
Fitbit Charge 3 – now $99.95
The Charge 3 has got a price cut to $99.95, saving you $50 over the cost of its successor. There’s no GPS but it will track exercise – although you don’t get the Active Zone Minutes tracking.
We’d probably advise most people away from the Charge 3 an opt for the Inspire HR or Charge 4 instead – but you do want to track your workouts, but don’t need GPS built in, it will be a worthy discount for some people.
